Three times a year we meet virtually the members of the formation of the Pious Schools Going Forth, both generations (Daloa and Kikonka), the formation team, and the guest who facilitates the session, always a relevant topic that helps to grow in going forth culture, or an inspiring testimony to share.

This time we gave the floor to:

Soïne Gandaho SchP, Piarist of the West Africa province, and member of the first generation of Pious Schools Going Forth (Kikonka Generation).

Over the course of half an hour he shared with us, the process of detection and discernment for the foundation of Za-Agbogbomè in Benin, the beginnings of the new mission, the contribution of the community to the mission, what they are doing, the care of the piarist identity, and finally, he talked about satisfaction and challenges.

This is a long-awaited foundation. For the village community, the arrival of the Piarist is a godsend.

The Piarist mission is developed through the school, the parish of St. Joseph of Calasanz, and all the after-school activities proper to our charism.

We then had another half hour of lively dialogue.

We thank Soïne for his testimony, and congratulate him and his community for the immense and amazing work they are doing.

They are the founders of the Piarist mission in Benin.
