The Simple profession of four novices, Br. Vikas Minj of our Lady of Holy Rosary, Br. Ajan Alexander of St. Michael, the Archange, Br. Blesson Baby of our Lady of Rosa Mystica, and Br. Gibbs Vijayan of the Holy Name of Mary marked a significant milestone on April 27th, 2024, at Casa Calasanz, the novitiate house. As the seventh Batch of novices from Casa Calasanz, the Piarist Fathers’ novitiate residence in India, concluded their formation, they embraced their simple vows and donned the religious habit.
The ceremony commenced with a solemn Eucharistic celebration, led by Rev. Fr. Stalin Nasianse Sch.P., the vice-provincial of the Order of the Pious Schools in India, who also received the novices’ simple profession during the mass. The Assistant to Fr. General, Fr József Urbán was present for the function. The presence of the novices’ families, relatives, neighboring priests, and religious sisters, alongside the local community, added to the joyous atmosphere. The festivities concluded with an Agape, symbolizing fraternity and communal sharing. the priests from differnet piarist community in india were also present.
The Piarist Fathers in India extend warm congratulations to the newly professed brothers, welcoming them into the Piarist family with open arms. Gratitude is expressed to Almighty God, as well as to Mother Mary and the founder St. Joseph Calasanz, for their unwavering intercession and blessings.
