During Holy Week and the first days of Easter, Fr. Pedro Aguado, General of the Order of the Pious Schools, visited the Piarist communities on the island of Puerto Rico to meet with the Piarist brothers in the three communities in San Juan, Ponce and Adjuntas.

In all three communities, Fr. Pedro Aguado and the Assistant General for America, Julio Alberto Álvarez, celebrated the Holy Days with the Piarist communities and the parish communities.

During the visit, letters of brotherhood were presented to individuals who, based on common and particular criteria, the Piarist Fathers recognise the connection between the lay vocation of some individuals and the sustainable mission of the Piarist presences.

Finally, the fruits of the visit were discussed with the Provincial Father Francisco Anaya in order to continue building the Pious Schools. During the visit, a series of fraternal visits were held, such as the renewal of vows at the residence of the Piarist Bishop Emeritus of Ponce, Monsignor Félix Lázaro.
