On 6 December 2002, His Excellency Mgr José Avelino Bettencourt, Apostolic Nuncio to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, visited the St Joseph Calasanz Bilingual Academic Complex (Messamendongo – Yaoundé). The visit was an opportunity to celebrate the feast of St Joseph Calasanz and to administer the sacrament of confirmation to 67 students. He highlighted the educational reality of the Piarists in Central Africa and invited the young students to be true Christians in order to transform the world. We thank him for this wonderful visit, which encourages us to be instruments of peace.
