The Team of Promotion of Pastoral on Vocations has presented the new vocational portal “Being a Piarist” from which to contact young people from all over the world.
With the motto “We want you to be happy” the new Piarist vocational platform has been launched in two languages, Spanish and English. The new project, presented at the commemoration of Consecrated Life, aims to serve as a liaison and promote contact with those young people with vocational concerns. “We’re not interested in your being a Piarist religious or a priest, but if God calls you, we want to help you and accompany you because that’s the way you’ll be happy,” they say in the presentation.
“We want to make ourselves available to anyone who wants to, on the road of their vocational discovery,” say project leaders. The Team of Promotion of Pastoral on Vocations, coordinated by Francisco Anaya, Ion Aranguren, Fernando García, Matus Palaj, Eduardo Diedhou and Roberto Dalusung, has been responsible for its implementation. “If in your heart there is a deep desire for generosity, life, dedication, improvement of this world, you can count on us, the Piarists”, explains Fr. General Pedro Aguado in the presentation video of the website. The platform also offers resources to approach and deepen the Piarist charism and in the founder of the congregation, Joseph de Calasanz. A “Prayer Corner” section provides visitors with various prayer materials for different times and experiences.
The platform makes available to young testimonials and news, as well as a contact form with a map of the world where to locate the different Piarist presences and a wide coverage on social networks (twitter, Facebook and instagram).
