The magazine is renewed with a new format, sections and content.

With this issue begins a new editorial stage, which varies the periodicity of the magazine, becoming annual: in the Calasantian festivities of the month of November, Analecta Calasanctiana appears in its double format, physical and digital, also renewing its presentation, layout and structure.

The Studies that occupy the first section give way to the Central Theme, research, to conclude with the Texts section, which offers an approach to the main Calasantian and Piarist writings.

In this issue, three studies with a clear Calasantian flavor: the first, on the work of Saint Paula Montal (1799-1889), founder of the Piarists; In addition, the cataloging of the Miscellaneous Papers section of the “Gil de Jaz” Fund of the Provincial Archive of the Pious Schools of Emmaus, providing a first-rate instrument to scholars interested in Piarist history from the 17th to the 20th centuries and, finally , the article dedicated to the Venerable Glicerio of Cristo Landriani (1588-1618). The new impulse to the work of the Cause wishes to make known his figure and the most relevant aspects of his personality and career.

The central theme is Fabio Obertelli’s study on the reliquary of Saint Joseph of Calasanz, the author’s thesis. The issue closes with the Texts section, dedicated to the “Brief Relation”, in which Sergio D. Conci Magris presents the essential keys to school work at the beginning of the Calasantian work.
